The TBEMC Men’s Club is proud to announce our honorees for 5775.  

Our Man of the Year is David Schwartz.  David has been a member of our club since joining the Shul in the early 1970s.  He has held many positions in our shul including Board of Education President, 1st,2nd and 3rd Vice President and is currently the High Holiday committee chairman.

Our Youth of the Year is Alana Taub.  Alana has been helping lead services along with reading Torah and Haftorah since being Bat Mitzvahed.  Among other things ,she has also volunteered in the Temple office helping out the office staff.  She is currently a freshman at Rutgers University.
We will be honoring these two individuals at the Northern NJ Regional Man & Youth of the year dinner on November 5th at Congregation B’Nai Tikvah in North Brunswick NJ.  If you wish to join us, please email myself (rcsacs@aol.com) or Lance Kandl ( lbkandl@gmail.com ) for more information.  If you wish to put in a congratulatory message in the Man & Youth of the Year Ad Journal, I have information on that as well.

“Letters to President Clinton – Biblical Lessons on Faith and Leadership”

Please join us a TBEMC for an installment of the author tour sponsored by the Jewish Book Council. Rabbi Menachem Genack will discuss his book “Letters to President Clinton- Biblical Lessons on Faith and Leadership”  With a foreword by President Clinton, this book is a collection of correspondence between Rabbi Genack and President Clinton, including divrei Torah the rabbi sent the President regarding a variety of the issues of the day, and the President’s comments on these lessons.
