Please join us Sunday, April 19, at 9:30 am, when TBEMC welcomes Anthony J. Sciolino, to discuss his book The Holocaust, The Church, and The Law of Unintended Consequences – How Christian Anti-Judaism Spawned Nazi Anti-Semitism.
Mr. Sciolino’s visit is timely, as he will be joining us during an eventful and contemplative period, when we commemorate Yom Hashoah, Yom HaZikaron, and Yom HaAtzmaut. Though his book draws on his skills as a lawyer, scholar and theologian, Mr. Sciolino’s book is very readable for a broad audience. Books will be available for purchase and for signing.
We are asking for a $5 contribution to the event. Dairy refreshments will be served.
Mr. Sciolino earned his law degree from Cornell Law School and is a retired New York State Family Court Judge. He is also an ordained Roman Catholic permanent deacon of the Diocese of Rochester with a master’s degree in theology from St. Bernard’s School of Theology and Ministry.
